Open Source Analysts Group (OSAGI) is a leader of providing analytics, research, development and itegration to the Enterprise. OSAGI was founded in 2004 to provide innovative, practical approaches to information management through the use of Open Source. OSAGI is made up of a group of senior IT individuals who are analysts and consultants from the Open Source community providing professional services in the form of analysis and consulting.

Through collaboration our experts work together for you giving you a clear and honest evaluation of your Open Source initiatives.

Our typical clients include businesses who are undertaking evaluation of Open Source Applications and Platforms to replace Closed Source Applications and Platforms. Other clients of OSAGI are developers in the for profit, not for profit and educational sectors looking for the latest non-biased research and analytics on the implementation and effort requirements of Open Source for their own projects. All published OSAGI analysis comes with a ready-to-use set of metrics that give our clients the required knowledge to make a informed decision.

In addition to research and analysis, OSAGI provides our clients professional services in the form of customization of software applications for those entities wishing to use Open Source.

Our clients can choose from any number of Open Source Application Frameworks that we support and extend to allow them to quickly get the business requirements for their applications into a enterprise ready application.

OSAGI is currently going through a series of builds and testing of our automated research and analysis framework. We are currently at release 0.8. OSAGI is striving to reach a 1.0 version of our research as soon as we can.

OSAGI is completely based on open source software (mostly from the Apache Foundation). Below is a non-exhaustive list of the open source tools used by OSAGI:
